Harpsichord

 

Jean-Christophe Dijoux discovered historical instruments during his piano studies at the Paris Conservatoire, subsequently studying with Françoise Marmin and Frédéric Michel. He then continued his studies with Robert Hill in Freiburg and with Jörg-Andreas Bötticher in Basel. He also receives guidance from Françoise Lengellé.

Jean-Christophe Dijoux won the award for the best basso continuo playing at the International Telemann Competition, and won first prize at the Bach International Competition in Leipzig.

He has been harpsichordist of the European Union Baroque Orchestra and of the Orchestre Français des Jeunes. He has played for Radio France and at numerous festivals in Europe and Canada.

His first CD, «Varietas», was released in June 2016 on Genuin Classics and has been praised by the critic.
