VERONIQUE BRIEL

After graduating with a first prize in piano and chamber music from the CNSM of Paris, Véronique Birel received the Hennessay-Mozart scholarship which allowed her to perform as a soloist with the Kammer Wienerorchester, the Orchestre Amadeus and the Orchestre Symphonique Français, playing Mozart, Beethoven and Bach.

As a soloist of Ensemble 2e2m, she takes part in premiering, performing or recording several contemporary pieces. Collaborating with Warsaw Radio and Radio France, she made a CD dedicated to little-known works belonging to the Polish romantic repertoire.

She teaches the piano at the Paris Conservatoire du XVIIème arrondissement and at the Saint-Cloud Conservatoire.
